Cataracts

Cataracts are the number one cause of vision loss in adults age 55 and older. They are also the number one cause of blindness worldwide. Half of the worldwide population will have a cataract by the age of 65, and almost all will have a cataract by the age of 75.

That's the bad news. The good news is that cataracts are very treatable, and more people are having their vision restored by cataract surgery than ever before.
